Kramp
This project aims to raise awareness of the crisis facing rural maternity care in Sweden through the medium of film. The film focuses on the experiences of pregnant women, midwives, and activists and is both artistically compelling and informative. By telling the stories of those affected by the crisis, this project seeks to start a conversation and generate awareness about an issue that is currently affecting the entire country. Through the use of pre-existing materials, the filmmaker was able to incorporate their own artistic history into the project while also showcasing the experiences and stories of others.
By not taking up too much space or attention, the film is able to effectively convey its message in a simple and impactful way. Overall, this project provides a compelling look at an important issue and offers a platform for those affected to share their stories.
