Synopsis
A young woman goes on nightly trips, in search of someone who’s impossible to find. Someone who has departed, for good. This film delicately explores the universality of unspeakable grief, from Taiwan to Sweden.
Biography
Shih Yi-Fan (b. Taipei 1990) is a filmmaker from Taiwan, based in Sweden.
Coming from a background of documentary directing, Shih often inspired by real-life stories and explores the boundaries between grey zones, imagination and multiple realities.
In her films she (often) reflects on questions concerning political events and bonds between human and nature, through the lens of animism, non-anthropocentrism and interculturalism.
