Synopsis
Twenty or so cats, a group of tourists, a gray parrot named after prince William and a couple of baboons attempting to join the tables at a local café. In a grey zone between human and animal, love and captivity, Capture reflects on freedom. What does it mean to capture somebody out of love?
Biography
Frida E. Elmström is a filmmaker born in Stockholm 1991. Her filmic works ranges from documentary to stop motion animation. In 2020 she received the Guldbagge award for best scenography (About Endlessness). Her interest in human behaviour, in-between spaces and objects informs her directorial work, such as Mardjuret and Silviana Deluxe 250.
