The Project ”Strong for being a girl” examine the possibility of creating and working with graphic design in a physical form. Today the majority of the graphic design we encounter is digital and two-dimensional, but how is the communication affected if the design takes a concrete and spatial shape? This project shows an example of how a graphic designer can bring a design into the three-dimensional world, and how this design practice can be used to create effective communication.
The project is based on the fictive brief of a gym who wants a campaign to invite woman to strength train, where this component is a piece of the campaign. The design is meant to feature attributes that we as a society often associate as feminin, to show that femininity and strength are not eachothers opposites.
