Transformation
In this project I have created methods for coloring woolyarn, to then wove my material together in the loom. It came out as an abstract picture. I have been investigating how to let the wool, in its different stages, interact in the same piece. The fire has twisted itself through the work. It became my anchor which has been mirroring me and my experiences emerging from the process. The wool, the fire and the process comes with transformative characteristics. This common denominator creates a meeting in the weaved picture, where these three components both interact and converse with each other.
